Seven up. etc are meant for the westerners and not for foreigners. these were invented by the Americans for the Americans. So are others like Burgers, Hotdogs , Steaks, Ham, Sausage. Bacon ,fish, Crabs. Lobsters, and what not. we cannot " Eat the cake and have it too " Si avoid such food items instead of complaining. Either stay at home ( India ) follow our own culture, or be part of the modern hippy trend. When we Indians follow the western style of eating, dressing, partying and visiting night clubs etc. we think " IT's COOL. " If we want to follow our culture we should teach our children to folllow the Hindu way of life. Take the young ones to temples, let them listen to the discourses of Hindu acharyas, let them get used to Indian cusine such as poori/ bateta, Raasgoolaa, Idli/Sambar, Rice/ khadi ; ghatia and kachori instead of hot dogs, Chaas instead of Soda. If one can eat chinese food or tandoori chicken ,they might as well have a coke on the side. jai shree krishna ! It is really dangerous to drink these items. Human hair which can not even be burned will dissolve in it. You pour little of it on a painted surface, the paint will be gone in few minutes. You can imagine what it can do to our stomach. Please stop even looking at it.
