Nalambala darshanam is supposed to be very important during the month of Karkidakom. Nalambalam means four temples, i.e., temples dedicated to Rama, Lakshmana, Bharatha, and Shatrugna. There are four famous temples in the district of Trichur viz., Thriprayar etc. Today I came to know that there are another set of four temples dedicated to Rama etc. They are Ramapuram Rama Kshetram, Kutapulam Lakshmana kshethram, Amanakara Bharatha kshethram, and Methiri Shatrugna kshethram. All these four temples are in the panchayat of Ramapuram in Kottayam district.

To be able to worship in all the four temples in one go is very important. A samithi is said to have been formed to help the pilgrims to have darshan as conveniently as possible. The darshan timings are 5 am to 12 noon and again 5 pm to 7.30 pm.

This is just for the information of those who are planning Nalambala Darshanam this year.
