During today's episode of Bhagavamrutham, Swamy Udit Chaithanyaji told us a

wonderful incident of a disciple of his. This person, who is Swamiji's disciple,

is based in the USA and on a day after attending a seminar conducted by her

company she was going back to her hotel. She has to walk for sometime to reach

her hotel. It was a bit late in the evening and on her way to her hotel she

noticed two people who were drunk and looked like criminals. Since she was alone

and the situation was not comforting she naturally felt a fear in her. But,

since she believed in God from the bottom of her heart and was convinced that

God dwells within her, she bestowed her entire trust on the Chaithanyam inside

her and walked past these people. She told herself that no matter whatever

happens, she will accept it as God's prasadam. She reached home safely.

On the next day, she came to know that another colleague of hers was caught by

these people, abused and killed. When called for an identification parade, she

was asked if she had seen the two people on her way back home. She confirmed

that she has seen the two people on her way back and identified them. The cops

then asked the two people as to why they did not harm this person and attacked

the other. The answered, " She was not alone, there was someone with her " .

Bhagavamrutham is being telecasted on Asianet daily at 6:00 AM IST. Please watch

this regularly and learn to uplift your mind to a level which is closer to God.

We pay a lot of money to management courses which teach us so little.

Bhagavatham, Gita, Ramayanam and the other Vedas have precious teachings that

can help us in life both personally and professionally.

Anand

There was someone with her !

There will be someone ( that is the Lord Himself )with us always provided we

surrender to Him completely. Have absolute and unconditional faith in Him,

accept him as your Lord and Master. Follow the path of pure devotion and

Bhagavan will protect you no matter what.

The problem with many of us is that we do our worship, prayers,, chanting and

other bhakti related work half-heartedly which will do no good at all. Be

sincere to ourselves and the Lord, and Bhagavam will ever be with us.

Dear All,Hari Om.I would like to share a personal experience with all of you. This happened a fewyears back (I think at least 8 to 9 years ago). I used to attend Tulsi Ramayan lecturesin Chinmaya Mission San Jose on monday and wednesday evenings. Swami Nikhilananda

used to be our Acharya in the San Jose Ashram. The Ashram is not located in a goodneighborhood and there is very limited parking. Usually, if one does not get there early, you will not find parking in front of the Ashram. The lectures started at 7:30 pm and I used

to try and get there by 7:20 pm itself to find a suitable parking very close to the Ashram. One evening, I could not get there that early. I had to park farther away on the street. The lecture finished at 9 pm and it was pretty dark by then, since it was winter time.

The streets are also dimly lit and I was walking over to my car. At that time, a big dogcame barking and was coming charging towards me. I started chanting Rama Namam and held tight to my Ramayanam book. Invoking the Lord

and feeling His Presence with me, I kept walking over to the car. In a few minutes, thedog stopped barking and went away to another street. I knew that it was only the Lordwho protected me from the danger.

Thanks so much for letting me share this experience. With Love & Pranams,LakshmyOn Tue, Jul 28, 2009 at 12:31 PM, anair1101 <anair1101 wrote:

Dear Lakshmyji,It was definitely Lord Rama's presence that saved you from the dog. You are blessed by Rama. But you are all the more blessed to think that it was Lord Rama's blessings that saved you! You need Bhagavan's blessings to think about his endless kaarunyam.

May Lord Rama be with you alwaysRegards an dprayersSavitriOn Wed, Jul 29, 2009 at 8:50 AM, Lakshmy Prakash <lakshmygprakash wrote:

I think Feel the presence of God by Jayshree Menon is absolutely heart touching!!

We all try to search god in Temples, Churches, Gurudwaras, mosques but we forget that we can easily find him inside us!!

As said by Lord Krishna in Kalyuga only chanting the name of the God can save us from all misery
