Guest guest
Hari- Om HINDU WORSHIP --------------------- People of different faiths have a particular day of the week set aside for worship alone. Christians have Sundays for prayers and worhip. Muslims consider Friday as auspecious and attend mosque on Friday without fail, Hebrews observe Saturday as holy. Hindus however go to the temple any day of the week, or everyday, morning and evening or they may not go at all. There are no strict rules or procedures and no compulsion,. This situation arose because of lack of unity among devotees and the absence of leadership as well. This was a deliberate move by the higher castes to create disunity among the masses by creating the caste system. Thus like the British in the latter days managed to practice " Divide and Rule " system of governing. The point I wish to stress is : Hindus have the option to worship the ishtadevada of one' choice as each of the 7 days of the week are dedicated to the principal deities. They are: Sunday - Surya Monday - Siva Tuesday - Hanuman Wednesday - Krishna Thursday - Vishnu Friday - Bhadra Saturdy - Sani Worshipping these particular deities on the respective days is considered very auspecious. jai shree krishna !
