Guest guest Posted August 4, 2009 Report Share Posted August 4, 2009 Om Namo Narayanaya Respectfully submitting the following article that appeared in today's Mathrubhumi, the demise of "Kaumudi Teacher", who took away her ornaments and gave it to Mahatma Gandhi in 1934 and she lived the rest of her life "75 years" without any ornaments. Is it that she dejected "ornaments" or accepted "thyagam" as an ornament? A subject for all of us to probe and decide for oneself. Unfortunately the link that I am attaching is in Malayalam fonts and those who cannot read it, I am really very sorry. Praying for eternal peace for the departed.
