Guest guest
Please readthe number of the previous nama as603 603 anivrtthaH This nama is explained in two ways, as na nivarthayathi ithi and as na nivarththe ithi. He does not turn away those who are intent on pravrtthi marga. That is , He allows them to act in their respective karma and experience the result by returning to samsara. The Lord says in the Gita, thaan akrthsnavidhaH mandhaan krthsnavith na vichaalayeth. (BG.3.29) Those who know everything should not disturb them who do not know at all. Unless one acquires the knowledge needed for enlightenment the wise should not disturb them because until they have the knowledge about prakrthi and its gunas they will not be freed from the sway of the gunas andit is not possible to enlighten them and will result only in creating confusion in their minds. This nama also means vrshpriyaath Dharmaath na nivarthatha. Sine He is vrshapriya, vrsha meaning dharma, He does not moves away from dharma. 604. nivrtthaathmaa nivrtthi means turning away. The Lord is the Athma, the Self of those who turn away from the world and follow nivrtthi dharma. He does not turn away from anything as He is omnipresent. Since nivrtthi also means nivrttham or udhgaatham, superior , this nama could be interpreted as the one who se nature is superior to all. 605. samkshepthaa vistrtham jagath samhaara samaye sookshma roopeNa samkshipathi samkshepaNa means contracting. The Lord ccntracts the Universe which is exatended through creation into subtle form within Him at the time of dissolution. He also contracts the knowledge of those whose attitude is in pravrtthi marga by not displaying His real nature to them. Naaham prakaasaH sarvasya,"I am not manifest to all," as He says in the Gita. 606. kshemakrth One who does kshema to the devotees, that is He looks after the welfare of His devotees. Yogakshemam vahaamyaham, " I look after the welfare of those who constantly think of Me alone," He says in the Gita. 607. SivaH Sivo SivaanAm a-Sivo a-Sivaanaam- (MB) He is auso picious to the auspicious and inauspicious to the inauspicious. Siva means auspiciousness Sete sarvam jagat pralaya velaayAm yasmin ithi Sivah The one in which the whole univers rests at the time of pralaya, 608.SrivathsavakshaaH One who has the mark sreecvathsa on His chest. According to Vishnupurana, the srivatsa is the pure soul of the world, pradhaana., which is abiding in Brahman. Srimadbhagavatham says, kaustubha vyapadeSena svaatma jyotih bibharthi ajah tat-prabhaa vyaapinee saakshaat SrIvatsam urasaa prabhuh The glory of His self is the kausthubha the reflection of which is the srivartsa. The Purana also describes the episode of Brghu who kicked the Lord in His chest to test His saathvik nature and the Lord bears the mark as an eveidence of His mercy towards His devotees. This nama is also interpreted as SreeH cha vathsaaH cha (meaning His devotees) vakshasi yasya saH sreevathsa vakshaaH. In whose heart lakshmi and the devotees are abiding forever. 609. sreevaasaH Sriyaa ushyathe yasmin. In whom Lakshmi resides 610. SreepathiH SreeH pathnee yasya saH sreepathiH 611. Sreemathaam varaH Due the above qualities He is the best anong those who have good fortune, sreemanthaH, because He hqas Sree, Lakshmi on His chest. .. ..
