Guest guest Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 Hari-Om=======How Arjuna accepted the Bhagavad-Gita is to be noted.His manner of acceptance is given in the Tenth Teaching(10.12-14)arjuna avacha:param brahma param dhamapavitram paramam bhavaanpurusam saaswatam divyamaadi-devam ajam vibhumaahus tvaam rasayah sarvedevarsir naaradas tathaaasito devalo vyaasahswayam chaiva bravisi mesarvam etad rtam manyeyan maam vadasi kesavana hI te bhagavan vyaaktimvaidur devaa na daanavaah--------------------------Translation:Arjuna:You are supreme, the infinite spiritthe highest abode, sublime purifier,man's spirit, eternal, divine,the premordial god, unborn , omnipotent. 12So the ancient seers spoke about you,as did the epic poet Vyasa and the bardswho sang for gods, ancestors and men;and now you tell me yourself. 13Lord Krishna, I realize the truthof all you tell me;neither gods nor demonsknow your manifest nataure. 14----------Srila Prabhupada explains:===After hearing Bhagavad-Gita from the Supreme Personality ofGodhead, Arjuna accepted Krishna as Param Brahma, the SupremeBrahman.
