A very importnt question, Jayshree ji. Lord Krishna is one and only for all Hindus whether in the North, south, east or west India. We aall know the day He was born and where He was born. Why do majority of Hindus celebrate His birthday on August 14, 2009 and few others , especilly Malayalees, according to Guruvayoor Devaswom website, observe September 7th, 2009 as His birthday ? This is not an isolated case. Other Hindu festival days differ in date too e.g. Vaikundha Ekadasi, anyone, any idea ? jai shree krishna !
