Srila Bhaktipada was asked : Is there any mterial benefits from chanting ? His reply - Chanting will save you money and time, because it will allow you to control your senses. Consider how much money we throw away trying to satisfy the unnecessary desires of our senses. People waste their resources in restaurants and movie theatres because they cannot control their tongue or eyes. They spend money on intoxication, gambling. meat-eatting and such vices because their senses are demanding satisfaction. It is waste of money and time.
