With the blessings of you all , he got admission in an Engineering college in merrit list very near to guruvayur , my home town. Now I am quite relaxed and on the eve of the Onnam Onam ( Uthradam )the memories of those old days ( golden ) are surfing in my mind. We used to get up as early as possible on Uthradam days to go to the temple .On that day almost the entire elephant stock ( except those on musth ) has to come to the temple to take part in the Sheeveli .After that the Thanthri , Melshanthi , then the top brass of the Devaswom administration followed by devottees sumbit KAZHCHAKKULAS to the Bhagawan . After that they are distributed to the elephants .. It is such a beautiful sight to observe those Elephants from the towering ten footers to to tiny little tots to eat Bananas standing around the temple which I am badly missing once I left Kerala . Any how I have one consolation that even though I miss this beatiful sight , my son could watch it on my behalf till his studies finishes.
