Respected devotees,

 

Tomorrow (friday) is the last day of Pitru paksham- Sarvapitri Amavasya.

 

On this day we offer libations to the ancestors and feed poor people and animals so that our ancestors may be benefitted from these noble acts, where ever they be.

 

It is also said that protecting and worshipping cows ie. Go-puja is the best method of gettting rid of any doshas such as pitru dosha, navagraha dosha, nakshatra dosha, etc.

 

Hence instead of spending huge amounts of money for elaborate rituals, or even donating to the temples where our funds are misused by the goverment officials, please consider supporting Go-shalas in this sacred time of the year.

 

Care for cows, is a wonderful organization saving the sick, old, abused and injured unwanted cows all over Vrindavan. But for this organization these helpless animals, would have simply died a miserable death on the roads or would have been mercilessly slaughtered illegally in neaby city's slaughterhouses.

 

But they need our help to survive and help our abandoned cows.

 

Donating even a small amount to them would help us partially pay off our debts to our cows who have been feeding their milk to us, at the cost of their own calves.
