Guest guest
Dear all, In Vasudevopanishad, Maha Vishnu says: " As oil stays in sesame seeds, as fire stays in wood, as butter stays in milk, and as fragrance stays in flowers, so I, the Supersoul or Paramaathma stay in the hearts of all living creatures. " It is understood that to get the oil from the sesame seeds, to ignite the fire with in the wood, to separate butter from the milk, and to collect fragrance of the flowers, we have to put effort. Likewise, Bhagavaan says, to reach Paramaathma or to realize His presence in ourselves, we have to churn our mind, remove all the negative qualities, thoughts and feelings. It is believed that worshipping the energy aspect of the Paramaathma, that is , Devi or Durga or Shakthi during the auspicious Navaratri helps us to remove all the negative qualities of our mind. Devi's energy will give us strength to churn our mind effectively and purify it to experience he bliss of oneness with Parmaathma. Let Devi's blessings be showered on all of us!
