What is the glory of   feelings of separation ?

The feeling of separation from Bhagavan is undoubtedly painful to the devotee, but because it is in connection with Bhagavan, it has a specific transcendental effect  that pacifies the heart.  Feelings of separation arealso sources of transcendental bliss, and they are never comparable to contaminated material feelings of separation.

 (Srimad Bhagavatham, 1.15.28)

How to treat Maha Prasada ?

Maha Prasada is non-different from Krishna.  Therefore, instead of eating Mahaprasada, one should honour it.  It is said here " Karila Vandana " " He offered prayers " .  When taking Mahaprasada, one should not consider the food ordinary preparations.  Prasada means favour.  One should consider Mahaprasada a favour of Krishna…. Krishna isvery kind.  In this material world we are all very much attached to tastingvarious types of food.  Therefore, Krishna eats many nice varieties of food and offers the food back to the devotees, so that not only are one's demands for various tastes satisfied, but by eating prasada one makesadvancement in spiritual life.  Therefore, we should never considerordinary food on an equal level with Mahaprasada.

( Chaitanya Charithaamrutha, Antya Leela, 11.20.)

How to please Sri Krishna ?

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura comments that one should always remember that he is eternally a servant of Sri Krishna.  Whether one is engaged in material activity involving pounds, shillings and pence or is in the renounced order, he should always think that he is an eternalservant of Bhagavan, for that is the real position of the living being.  Taking Sannyasa and dealings in pounds, shillings and pence are bothexternal affairs.  In any condition, one should always consider how to please and satisfy Sri Krishna.  Thus, even if one is involved in greatmaterial affairs, he will not become attached.  As  soon as one forgetsthat he is an eternal servant of Sri Krishna, he becomes involved inmaterial attachments.  However, if one is always conscious that Krishna is always the Supreme master and that he is an eternal servant of Krishna, he is a liberated person in any condition.  Entangling materialactivities will not affect him.

 (Chaithanya Charithaamrutha,  Antya Leela,  9.141.)

How can we be successful in our devotional service ?

This crying is the last word in the progressive path of devotional service.  One who can cry for Bhagavan  in love is certainly successful in the line of devotional service.

 (Srimad Bhagavatham, 3.4.35. )

What is the vision of a Vaisnava ?

It is a qualification of a Vaisnava that he is adosa darsi : He never sees other's faults.  Of course, every human being has both good qualities and faults.  Therefore, it is said, " Saj-janaa gunam icchanti dosam icchanti paamaraah. " Everyone has a combination of faults and glories.  But a Vaisnava, a sober man, accepts only a man's glories and not hisfaults, for flies seek sores whereas honeybees seek honey.

  (Chaitanya Charithaamrutha,  Adi Leela 8.62)

 How a disciple should see

his Guru ?

The relationship of a disciple with his spiritual mater (Guru) is as good ashis relationship with the Supreme Lord.  A spiritual master alwaysrepresents himself as the humblest servitor of the Personality of Godhead, but the disciple must look upon him as the manifested representation of Godhead.

 (Chaitanya Charithaamrutha, Adi Leela, 1.45)

How to judge whether our work is on the material platform or devotional platform ?

Any work that is performed by a devotee in Krishna Consciousness isnever work on the material platform although it may appear to be so.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)How can we become beautiful and useful ?

When we keep our association with Krishna, every activity is proper andliberating, but if we should dissociate ourselves from the Lord's mercythen like a hand which is severed from the body we become ugly and useless.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

How to see God ?

Ointment is applied to the eyes for clear vision.  When the ointment oflove of Godhead will be applied in our eyes, then with these eyes weshall be able to see God.  God is not invisible.  Simply like a man with cataract or any other eye disease he cannot see.  That does not mean the things are not existing.  He cannot see.  God is there, but becausemy eyes are not competent to see God, therefore, I deny God. God is there, everywhere.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

How to know whether I am

 a karmi or a devotee ?

So far as your working engagement is concerned, certainly you are not a karmi.  Any person whose constant occupation is Krishna's service, he is not a karmi ; he is a devotee in all circumstances.  You should accept the best source of monetary income and use it for Krishna.  That isbetter than Sannyasa.  Stick to your job and use it for Krishna's service .You are not a karmi.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

 What is yoga ?

If you are steady either in success or failure, that is called yoga.  Don'tmind for the success or failure.  Do act on behalf of the Supreme Lord.  And if you are steady in that position, then your working in spiritual platform is successful.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

Why Radha's name is first ?

Radha-Krishna.  Radha's name is first.  Why ?  Nobody can be betterdevotee than Radharani.  As  soon as Radha's name is there, Krishna ismore pleased.  That is the way.  If we glorify the devotees, the character of the devotees, before the Lord, He is more pleased than to glorifyHimself, He directly.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

Why should we always depend on Krishna?

Depend on Krishna, because after all, He is the ultimate master of allsituations.  It is not the doctor, or the medicine, or the place, but it isultimately Krishna who is the master to do everything.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

What is meant by successful life ?

A pure devotee always thinks himself as not-devotee.  If one thinks he isbig devotee, that is not good, thinking that he is first degree.  We shouldnot be puffed up.  A devotee avoids it, remaining always in the seconddegree.  Krishna has given everyone something extraordinary, and toserve Krishna with one's extraordinary talent means successful life.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

What is the importance of regular training?

Simply by changing dress, one does not improve unless he seriouslytakes the principle of devotional service.  But in Kali yuga, they will think, " Because I have changed my dress, I have become a big sannyasi. "   You see ? " Because I have got a sacred thread, now I am a brahmana. "  No. There must be regular training.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

How to be a first class devotee ?

Always remember Krishna who is your dear-most friend and always serve Him just to please Him, and He will give you all intelligence how to be a first class devotee.

(His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

 What is the difference between

  a devotee and a non-devotee ?

The difference between a devotee and a non-devotee is this, just like thebee and the fly : the bee always is attracted by the honey and flies go to the open sores.   So   the  devotee  is  only attracted by the goodqualities in other people and does not see their faults.

-- In the material world everyone faces a dark future. No matter how successful and happy one may be in this material world he must face the gloomy future of old age, disease, and disease. This is why Krishna consciousness is of the utmost importance for the human society. Through Krishna consciousness one can enter into the brightest of all possible futures by reviving his eternal, all blissful, all knowledgeable nature. And this revival is not even difficult. All one has to do is take guidance, inspiration, and blessings from those who already situated in Krishna consciousness. It is for this purpose of transcendental association that Srila Prabhupada founded ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, in New York in 1966.
