On that day my daughter, who is at Mumbai now, will also reach Guruvayur. Even thogugh three years completed after her marriage, till now the blessings of Guruvaryuappan has not been showered on her by way of giving a child to her. " Guruvayurappa avalil kaniyaname " . So, I think it is not a mistake to worship Goddess first. Without ‘Aadi Parasakthi’, there may be nothing. Irrespective of the fact that one believes in any God, Gods, or Goddesses for that matter, my humble opinion is that we should always remember the Universal fact as adumbrated in our Sanathana Dharma that the only one God is Brahman, The Supreme Truth. It is for all. All other Gods, even if they are 33 billion or above, they are all different manifestations of The Brahman. It is equally true that we cannot leave worshipping different Gods, the various manifestations of The Brahman, until we develop ‘sama budhi’, to leave worshipping idols, which may take even generations in many cases. One thing is that we must be good at heart while praying. I am totally hesitant to blame either, may be because of my ignorance. Believe Gurudevs will forgive me in saying so.
