Guest guest
Dear all,Once upon a time self realized sages planted a young plant in the most fertile soil of Himaalyas. That tree is known as KalpaVriksha. It is interesting to learn more about it. Roots of this tree is Pranavam or Omkaaram. Trunk is Gaayathri manthram.Big branches are Vedaas.Small sticks sprouting from branches are Vedaangaas.Leaves are all divine names.Fruits are Puraanaas, Ithihaasaas, Kavyaas (long poems) and Natakaas or dramaas. Travellers like us who are often, tired, bewildered, elated, depressed, happy, sad or confused in their journey of life have two options;1. They can go and rest under the big Kalpavruksham and count the leaves by chanting the divine names. Then slowly they can try to taste the delicious fruits and get energized. With that energy, comes enthusiasm and desire to know more about the unknown power behind everything in the Universe. As this desire to know Him, to love Him, to serve Him, to glorify Him, becomes intense, one attains moksham. 2. They can cut the shady tree branches with the four swords :kaamam, krodham, lobham and moham. This willl make sure that the heavy branches will fall and hurt the other innocent people and animals who came to rest under the divine tree. They can burn the leaves by talking ill of others and " chanting " words that hurt themselves and others alike. They can step on the ripe and delicious fruits and crush them with the two feet, madam and maathsaryam. After using up all their energy in destroying the beautiful tree, exhausted jeevaas fall dead to continue the famous, never ending cycle of birth and death. Who tells us about the options so that we know about the availability of those? Shree Rama Paramahamsar says: " Yes, answer to that word " who " is our inner conscience and listen to Him carefully. He will never misguide you. " May God bless us to listen and follow His words coming from with in us!Regards an dprayersSavitri
