Dear all,

Anjaneya came back to earth as Hanuman. Anjana and Veerakesari were delighted to see their beloved son , even though he came back with a disfugured jaw. Anjana's endless motherly love felt that even that mark of the blow from Vajraayudham was a Bhooshanam to him, or it was an added factor that enhanced his beauty. A mother's love can see anything as a positive attribute to their children!

After a few months they were looking for a capable and knowledgeable Guru for Hanuman. Veerakesari knows all that a monkey needs to know, but did not want to be the Guru of their own son. That is not the practice and Vaayu Bhgavaan also was reluctant to become his guru. When they were toying with the idea of finding a guru, Hanuman played by himself in the forest. One day Hanuman had a hard fight with a big tiger and with difficulty he finally killed it and won the deadly battle. When he raised his head after killing the cruel beast, he saw a dark, strong and healthy forest dweller (kaattaalan) standing in front of him. He smiled and congratulated Hanuman on his victory. He offered Hanuman that he was ready to become Hanuman's Guru. Hanuman aked him about his capabilities and knowledge and his response really impressed Hanuman. Hanuman understood that he was an all rounder, proficient in everything he wanted to learn. But he wanted to discuss with his parents before he would accept Him as Guru. So Hanuman took him to his parents.

Veerakesari was not impressed at the first sight of this man and told the forest dweller that if he could fight with him and win, then he would let him be their son's Guru. Kaattaalan agreed and fight started. Veerakesari was a big archer, boxer and extraordinary strong. But in the second round he was miserably beaten up by the seemingly mild forest dweller. Veerakesari prostrated at the forest dweller's feet and requested him to accept Hanuman as his disciple.

By that time Anjana Devi felt that it was not an ordinary forest dweller and it was Lord Shiva himself who came to test them. Lord Shiva wanted to bless Hanuman by making him his disciple. So all of them did namaskaar and for a moment, Lord Shiva showed His divine form. Lord Shiva accepted Hanuman as his disciple.

Next day Anjana Devi made Hanuman sit on her lap and Lord Shiva wrote the " Harishree " of Hanuman's knowledge on his tongue. Then Lord taught him everything with perfection becasue he knew that Hanuman was going to use all those tricks and knowledge in Thretha yuga to help Lord Rama and Sita Devi. Lord Shiva also arranged Saraswathi Devi to teach music to Hanuman.

Thus little Hanuman started his education under the guidance of the greatest gurus of the world.
