Guest guest Posted November 15, 2009 Report Share Posted November 15, 2009 Pranamam, this year guruvayur ekadishi is on 28th nov,saturday.i would like share a few information ,may be useful to those lucky ones who could be there at guruvayur on Ekadashi day.on that day when we first enter the temple for darshan we should keep money infront of bagavan.(nadakkal).spend the whole day inside temple chanting prayers.temple wont close on that day.at night when ekadashi ends (exact time can know from the temple authorities) take a dip in the temple pond or at hotel..return for dwadashi panam vekkal...(according to some it is Rs 11.45..and others amount we could afford..).before joining Que for that ,have darshan again .most probably it will be sheeveli time and nearly 2am, then join que.the Othikkans whom we offer dwadashi panam will be sitting in koothambalam....when we offer this they clap their hands and bless us.then again join another que for getting dwadashikaya...nellikka....or else carry one nellikka and aval and malar with us and have it after offering dwadashi panam.though these ques are very long we dont have to wait for long as it goes fast.(On ekadashi day..afternoon dewasom provide godambu kanji for devotees.....and when tired can have elaneer ,a natural energy drink.)
