The Kaaba or the black stone worshipped by Muslims is in fact a Shivalinga installed during the reign of Vikramaditya. Vikraamaditya's empire spread over middle east and as far north as Scandivania , and to the far east to Java, Bali, Indonasia and farther. In the far east there are followers of Hinduism and Buddhism and also temples and Budhist shrines , also names from Ramayana and worshippers of Rama and Hanuman. Of course IN the middle east in those days the people were all wandering tribesmen and as such had no religion or permanent settlements. Almost everyone was ignorant and illiterate nomads. The muslims have nothing to claim as their own . They ruled by the sword and destroyed everything that they did not favour. THe Muslims of India were originally Hindus, converted by force ( so are christians ) .All the mosques were Hindu temples. However, it has survived since the very beginning of this world and will remain so till the end . It's Vedic scriptures indicate that *Vedic Dharma* will come under attack from anti-vedic faiths in Kali-yuga . Rishis the custodians of Vaidhic Dharma will not interfere to arrest this trend . This is what happening now. However, it is the responsibility of each Hindu to follow the tenets of Bhagavad Gita in his/her day-to-day life . Those lethargic Hindus who ignore this fact and who live the mlecha way of life , will end up in disaster. Their children too will live the mlecha way of life and end up as Mlechas.
