Guest guest
Priya and Abhivandya Shastriji: Thank you so much for your wonderful, revealing wisdom on suffering. I loved the line you quoted from the Upanishad-s: Suffering is a kind of Tapasya. From my own life's suffering I have learned three things: 1. Often suffering has hidden in it seeds of very, very good things. 2. Suffering always deepened both my Bhakti and my compassion for other people's suffering. 3. Suffering most certainly made me less arrogant. The great Siddha and Jnaani of Varanasi Shri Gopinath Kaviraj wrote once in an article in the Kalyan magazine that one result of human suffering is destruction of Ahambhaavam, a weakening of which brings us closer to the Divine. We learn total dependence on God as a result. Shree RaadhaaKrshnaaya Namo Namah! DKM Kartha (Mohanachandran)
