Guest guest Posted December 9, 2009 Report Share Posted December 9, 2009 Dear all, Long back some one asked me why we say Bhagavaan is blue?, have we seen any blue humans walking around? and what is the basis of our assumption that God is blue? I told the answer Vivekananda swamiji told : " Yes our God is BLUE because He is beginningless and endless like the blue sky. Also He is as vast, deep and kind as huge blue bodies of water which forms the basis of life on our planet. " Yesterday a rainbow brought these thoughts to my mind and I humbly attempted to add these to Swamiji's words. Also my God Shyamasundaran can change color because He is GREEN when He appears through grass, leaves and trees. He is YELLOW when He appears as Sun, Moon and Stars and beautiful yellow flowers. He appears in ORANGE color when he comes to us through all the healthy orange vegetables and fruits like oranges and carrots and as also as the fire that cooks these and gives warmth and heat energy to us. . Our God runs through out our body as RED blood, and He also appears to us in different shades of red and pink in the form of flowers. His VIOLET color is displayed through several beautiful flowers. Often He comes in INDIGO clouds to cool off this earth and give the water of life to all of His creation. Then after giving a big shower to His dear consort Earth , finally my God arranges these colors next to each other in the order Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red and makes a rainbow for all His children to see, enjoy and appreciate His omnipresent, omnipotent and Omniscient nature. And we worship Him through everything in this Universe and call Him Virat Purushan! HE IS PARAMATHMA AND SO NATURALLY BLUE. AAKAASHAM, GAGANAM SUNYAM. Aakaasm is vast as the ocean, no beginning and no end.
