Dear Gurudevs !

The comming Two days - December 12th and 13 th are very auspicious for all

devottees . Tomorrow - the 12th December is THRIPRAYAR EKADASI which is as

important as GURUVAYUR EKADASI .The Ekadasi comming in the Krishna Paksham of

the month of Vrichikam ( and in the Mandalam Season ) is being observed as

Thriprayar Ekadasi . Most Hindu Families observe fast on Three Ekadasis -

Guruvayur Ekadasi - in the Shukla Paksham of Vrichikam ,Thriprayar Ekadasi of

the Krishna Paksham and Vaikunda Ekadasi which comes in the Shukla Paksham of

the month of Dhanu . Hence observing fast and chanting Rama Rama through out the

day on the Thriprayar Ekadasi is very auspicious for all.

The Thriprayar Temple is situated in the Trichur District under the Cochin

Devaswam Board . It is one of the important Temples under the Board - others

being Chottanikkara and Kodungallur Devi Temples. The Diety of Thriprayar is Sri

Rama in a Dhyana Rupam after killing the Demon Kharan . Hence there is no

separate temple for Sita Devi here . Since Hanumanji hadn't met Sri Ramji at

that time Hanuman Prathishta is also not there .But there is presence of

Hanumanji in the temple and poojas and AVIL NIVEDYAM are offered . The other

UPADEVAS are Ganeshji , Goshalakrishnan and Shasthavu .The Temple is situated in

the banks of a River and it is a beautiful sight to watch the temple from the

other side . . Thriprayar thevar commands the main place in the Arattupuzha

pooram and goes in a Boat to Arattupuzha from Thriprayar .The Land through which

the Thevar goes to Arattupuzha belongs to the God itself who do not travel

through other's property . Vedi Vazhipad and MEENOOTTU are two other important

offerings in this Temple.

13th December is the NARAYANEEYA DHINAM - The Day the Great Melpathur

Bhattaathirippad submitted the precious creation to Guruvayoorappan . It is a

rare occation to read Narayaneeyam on the Dwadasi day after observing fast of

Thriprayar Ekadasi . Such incidents occurs very rare and I humbly plead to all

Gurudevs and Devottees of this group to grab this rarest of rare oppertunities.
