Guest guest
HARI AUM A very common question: “If you had another Janmam (life), how do you like to live it? If I get another Janmam in the same situations, I can think of 100 ways of living a far better and fruitful life. I will be able to avoid many wrong doings and wrong decisions that happened in this life and I am sure I will be able to lead a far better life in a very similar surroundings! Another life: whether possible or not is not within our knowledge or control - we can only dream of it. And for dreams even sky need not be a limit! A nice pastime - day dreaming – to some extent it is not bad. Let us think of something more probable and positive, within our reach – another day! A very positive and certain thing! I can assure you. Don’t agree? If not come back to me for the answer. Yesterday is gone: today is also going. Let us be better prepared to lead a far better tomorrow. If there is a tomorrow I would like to live like this: (This is a beautiful Malayalam Poem, written in Google transliteration. If you are using gmail, of course you will be able to read it with out any problem. Anyway, I am attaching a PDF format of the same poem too.). വെളàµà´•àµà´•àµà´®àµà´ªàµ‹à´³àµâ€ à´•àµà´³à´¿à´•àµà´•àµ‡à´£à´‚ വെളàµà´¤àµà´¤ à´®àµà´£àµà´Ÿàµà´Ÿàµà´•àµà´•àµ‡à´£à´‚ à´•à´°àµà´¤àµà´¤àµ‡à´±àµà´‚ കൊമàµà´ªà´¨à´¾à´¨ à´ªàµà´ªàµà´±à´¤àµà´¤àµ‡à´±à´¿ നടകàµà´•àµ‡à´£à´‚[ Velukkompol Kulikkenam - VeluthamundudukkenamKarutherum Kompanana - Ppuratheri Nadakkenam ] It can be translated as: Take bath in the morning – wear white clothes Mount on a powerful tusker (male elephant) – and go your way. Guest guest
Some prayers by great saints regarding future janmas:O Lord Mukunda! I bow down my head to Your Lordship and respectfully ask You to fulfill this one desire of mine: that in each of my future births I will, by Your Lordship's mercy, always remember and never forget Your lotus feet.O Lord Hari, it is not to be saved from the dualities of material existence or the grim tribulations of the KumbhÄ«pÄka hell that I pray to Your lotus feet. Nor is my purpose to enjoy the soft-skinned beautiful women who reside in the gardens of heaven. I pray to Your lotus feet only so that I may remember You alone in the core of my heart, birth after birth.O my Lord! I have no attachment for religiosity, or for accumulating wealth, or for enjoying sense gratification. Let these come as they inevitably must, in accordance with my past deeds. But I do pray for this most cherished boon: birth after birth, let me render unflinching devotional service unto Your two lotus feet. - [Kulasekhara Alwar in Mukunda Mala Stotra (3,4,5)]O almighty Lord, I have no desire to accumulate wealth, nor do I desire beautiful women, nor do I want any number of followers. I only want Your causeless devotional service birth after birth. - [Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in SikshAshtakam (4)]now coming to the more logical conclusion of Poonthanam in Jnanapana:enthinu vrithaa kaalam kaLayunnu ?vaikuNTHAthinu pOykkoLvinellaarum !!!Regards,-sriram--- On Fri, 1/15/10, NBhaskaran Nair <nbnair2000 wrote:NBhaskaran Nair <nbnair2000[Guruvayur] If I had another Janmam"Guruvayur Group" <guruvayur >Cc: "Bhaskaran Nair" <nbnairFriday, January 15, 2010, 2:03 PM HARI AUM A very common question: “If you had another Janmam (life), how do you like to live it?
