Expat Keralites, if you have relatives in Kerala, please ask them to go and get Lord Shiva's blessings on this powerful night. And also to pray for those us who can't be there. At the temple, the programme is to have all night abhishekham (that Lord Shiva loves)and chanting Lamps will be lit all over and around the temple. You can go and help light those lampls. Lighting lamps wards away evil and ushers in knowledge, prosperity and good health. About 30 people have signed up to do sayana pradakshina (rolling around the temple). If you haven't signed up yet and want to. Please do so soon. This is a very powerful 1,500 year old temple Also, be sure to have darshan of sweet Lord Venugopalamurthy (Lord Krishna). He has his own temple within the Puthur Shiva Temple. Annadanam will be offered at regular times of the day and night.
