Guest guest
Dear Hari ji, Your advice to Shri Pande does not sound fully correct. Some time, misconceptions and wrong informations creat many problems. Maharishi Valmiki was very much Brahmin, but he was Valia-lutaara (non-Brahmin) in his previous birth. I donot agree with your finding about Maharishi Ved Vyas too. In the matter of religion, perheps, we are not authorities and our knowledge is very limited and therefore please think twice before you seriously guide somebody. Geeta does convey equality, i.e., man, cow, snake,donkey- all are equal as they have the same ansha of God and therefore all should be treated equally. Despite the same, do we consume female-dog's milk or insist for cow's milk ? Why do we treat them differently ? Have you ever heard that Baaraat me dulha gadhe pe baith ke nikla ?!! We use a horse for that. Why do all discriminate ?!! Why do we make a cow a member of our family and not a snake ? My dear brother, sristi ki rachna hi bhed se hui hai: " X " and " Y " factor gives birth to a child and if both male and female are having " equal " factor of either 'X' or 'Y', he will be called 'napunshak'. So, vyavhaar me bhed anivaarya hai and bhaav me samta jaroori hai. Samta is not samaanta- equality. Hindi-Chini bhai ho hi nahi sakte, Hindu-Muslim bhai-bhai ho hi nahi sakte.. They can be, of course, very good friends ! They should certainly love each other as all are creations of God and every one has the same ansha of God inside, but in practice, there is always a lakshaman rekha which one should never cross.. Otherwise, Ravan is already waiting on the other side of the laxaman rekha. Therefore, God has created this 'srushti' with 'chaatur-varna' system which very much scintific and perfact. I am of the humber opinion that all should honour, understand and uphold the chaatur-varna vyavasth propounded by God. We have a number of Smriti granthas on this Code which Gita Press periodically publishes. Please keep in touch with Gita Press publications. Rest Hari Krupa.. -Bharat
