Priya Sadhak,

You have put very interesting questions.I think every sadhak have it

in his or her mind. May I try to say please.

1.Saavdhani means we should not have any insistence (aagrah) on the

result of a deed OR while doing we should always think of ability

(Saamrthya), harm or damage (haani) or violence (hinsa)it is likely

to cause, and above all doing a deed should give us a feeling of

service to God.

2.Yes. without it we will lurch or plunge in the results of a deed.

3.You need not to be a doer. Do it as if God is doing with his own

hands.

4.It is a supreme state of Self, where one does not remain, i.e one

is dissolved in God. Until that state is reached, saavdhani is

must. How will u now that the state has been reached?

You would not know, because the Knower has also dissolved with God,

like the doer.

Yours truly

Raja.

In response to following question:

Param Shreddhey Swami Ramsukhdasji, in explaining the messages of

the Gita has number of times said, " Karne mein saavdhaan, hone

mein prasanna. " i.e. " In doing, be careful, use your discrimination,

and in being, remain happy and at ease. "

Question:

What does Swamiji specifically mean by Saavadhaani (careful,

discriminatory action) ?

Is vivek involved in this saavdhaani?

Since nothing has to be done for the Self, everything is being done

for God / world and also since the Self is not a doer, when does

this statement apply ?

Since for a sharanagat bhakt (one who has taken refuge in God), love

of God is the only aim and direction of life, and all actions are

only in accordance to God's wishes, is saavdhaani even an

issue ?

I apologize if I am revisiting some of the same questions, for

further clarification.

A Sadhak
