Dear Members:

Do not take me wrong as I am a devotee of Mata Vaishno Devi and

believe like all of you that devotion is nothing but the best. I

believe what I am today is all because of my Mata.

The question is how to picture your beloved god as we have so many

of them. I believe God is one than why we have all these various

representations of GOD.

I do not want to distrust anybody because the beliefs are more than

what I am requesting.

One question is always open Hinduism is religion or a community.

Reason being it is so vast and big that you can not put it in words.

That's how I feel it.

Q: How to picture your beloved God, when there are so many

different forms ?

Dear Members:

Reply from Bhupinder- this is nothing else but devotion. However one important

point that you should keep in mind is that Mataji has bestowed upon you her

blessings so that you can also give something back to the society. Although it

is not binding on you, but daan has a special meaning in all our holy books.

The question is how to picture your beloved god as we have so many

of them. I believe God is one than why we have all these various

representations of GOD.

Reply from Bhupinder- the pictures of Gods and Goddesses is just an imagination

of the individuals. God exists in everything and in everyone. 'Sarvavyapi' means

omnipresent and this is associated with Gods in all our religions. So please do

not bother about the looks, but keep a firm belief in your mind. Sant

Dnyaneshwara was thrown out of the temple. This led him to believe that 'his'

God also exists in a stone and God actually gave him darshan by appearing from

the stone. So faith is most important while looks do not make any meaning.

I do not want to distrust anybody because the beliefs are more than

what I am requesting.

Reply from Bhupinder- There should not be any doubt on this. Hinduism is a

religion which includes various other communities. Even Sikhs have their origin

in Hinduism as 9 of our 10 gurus were Hindus. Sikhism started with out 10th

Guru. In fact, once I read a beautiful article wherein the author claimed that

only Hindus are born Hindus. In all the other religions, certain activity needs

to be done for him to become a part of any religion. For e.g. Christians do the

baptism, Muslims do circumcision, etc. Although I do not have sufficient

information on this.....

That's how I feel it.

Priy Anilji, Pranam, Like sunrays are not different from the sun & cant exist without sun.Like Moonrays are not different from the Moon & cant exist without Moon. Similarly Maa Adya Shakti MATA is not different from god.It is the expression of god. Being Nirgun Nirakar God cant be seen of sensed by any of senses therefore god expresses in form of MAA. In geeta god said that ' PRIKRUTIM SWAMDHISHTHAY SAMBHAVAMYA AATM MAAYAYA.' /(4/6).That MAAYA is MAA. Second thing is Pictures of god then it is very clear that all is god then every Naam & Roop is also god.Aham aatma gudakesh sarva bhootashaya sthitah.(I am in every being seen in this world.) As for your devotion to MAA you said that whatever you got are the blessings of MAA therefore you like the god in form of Maa & others get it from different forms of god so they praise accordingly. Why they should not do it if

you do it according to your Shradha? I am not offending you but asking very humbly. Your shradha is Sakaran(With reason that you all got from MAA.) But divine love is different. It is not demanding but GIVING.Tulsi dasji said in Ramayana that 'HETU RHIT JAG JUG UPKAARI, TUM TUMAHAR SEVAK ASURARI.(There are only two inthis world who do UPKAAR without any reason, One is You god & other is your SEvak or BHakt or sant whatever you call.)To understand divine love i must ask you to read RAMAYANA becoz it is told by Bhagwan shivji to MAata Parvatiji MAA JAGADAMBA. Thanx, RAJA. sadhak_insight <sadhak_insight wrote: Dear Members:Do not take me wrong as I am a devotee of Mata Vaishno Devi and believe like all of you that devotion is nothing but the best.
