We have taken the unreal world as real and the real God as unreal. So we have fallen in love with the unreal world and moved further away from the Real (God). The feeling of "Mine-ness" is the basis of loving. With this world we have a feeling of mine-ness, which lacks in case of God. Therefore we are unable to love God as it is. When you love someone as it is, you are loving them not for their qualities, not for what they have, not for their appearances, not for their position and power, but are simply loving them because they are your very own. To such an extent that even if the person is mean, harsh and disqualified, he is still your very own. Just like your child even if he is disobedient or a troublemaker, you still love him, no matter how he is. Similarly we are God's very own "Mameva Ansha Jeeva Loke... " Gita 15:7, and God loves us as it is, just like the child. Just like your mother, however ugly, however poorly dressed she may be, but you still love her, because she is yours. So this is what loving God "as it is" is about. Hare Krishna Shyam --- All divine souls, I been through lots of discussions on the group. I want to most humbly requestfully ask that why cant we love God? Just like we love our family, Friends, Relatives, Kids, Even Bounty of the nature. We love all them for a reason or another. but God is having Ahaituki kripa on us.Without reason. Bountiful of it all.
