Realization that we are God comes from an inner stillness, (permanent) consciousness. YOGA CHITTA VRITTI NIRODHAh - 11 Patanjali Any ripple or turbulence in consciousness starts a chain of reaction and we then realize the world of the senses and ego instead of God or of the Self. Sri Krishna, the Supreme Consciousness is the still, unmoving, unaffected and uninvolved observer. He is TAT SAT (taking things, as it is, without any judgement). In Gita He says - 'you are in Me' but 'I am not in you'. Beginning the search for God is an important step. If you search God, you will find Him every where and you find yourself as God. Saint Kabir says LALI DEKHAN MAI GAYI, JIT DEKHAN TIT LAL " In English: when I was searching for God, I found God every where, and I realized that I too am God' My friends! Those who want to realize God should be extremely alert, very kind (sensitive), truthful, non-reactive, loving and perfectionist in whatever they do. In due time, you will experience inner calmness and God realization. This is also called YOGA or union with the Self. Guest guest
Dear souls; Are we not in this world of death[mrityu loka] because of a desire to enjoy as if we are God? Everyone virtually thinks already that they are the controller and owner of their little half-acre and yet due to this false mentality we are forced to undergo suffering life-after-life. It would therefore seem incumbent upon us to renounce any and all attempts to usurp the position of enjoyer and controller and accept the humble position as an eternal servant of the Absolute. That is our real constitutional position in the big picture of things. Once one says boldly and sincerely, that from this day on I will serve You only, the material chains to this worldly life begin to melt away and one obtains freedom from Maya. This is the understanding that comes to me particularly when I read the 14th verse of chapter 7 in the Gita. Guest guest
Shree Hari Pranams In the Bhagavad-gita 15.7 God says - mamaivamso jiva lokejiva bhuta santanaThe living entities in this conditioned material world are My eternal fragmental parts. na tv evaham jatu nasam na tvam neme janadhipana caiva na bhavishyami save vayam atah paramThere was never a time when Krishna, Arjuna and all others in Kurukshetra did not exist as separate entities. Krishna says they will exist like that forever. In the Bg 7.4 Krishna describes his separated material energies and in 7.5 a superior (also separated) energy - the life element by which this Universe is sustained. Sri Narayana Upanisad 2 says : Narayana is the Inner and the Outer also. Narayana is the Corporeal and the Uncorporeal. Narayan is the eternal one God, there is no second apart from Him, (suddha asamurdhavah) free of all impurity (niranjanah), untouched by matter. One who understands Narayana, goes to His eternal abode. So, only the materialistic people and and the mayavadis are under the gunas but never The supreme Lord Narayana or Krishna who are eternally pure and perfect.Chant Hare Krishna and be happy. Guest guest
Misraji, You and the group members have said that " I am God. Every body is God. Every thing is God. Realization that we are God comes from an inner stillness, (permanent) consciousness " Does it not appear somewhat odd or incompatible? My understanding is that, there should be some difference between God and us no? We are part and parcel of God but we are not God, we are God's. We are qualitatively same as God but quantitatively not same. God is infinite and we are infitesimal.then only we can say that God is great otherwise everybody is great including cats and dogs on the street, why ? they are also like you and me, jivas and Do you agree with this? Please forgive me if I committed any offence towards you. because this is online and we don't know each other and we are talking about great spiritual things like our mundane day to day activities. Of Course some thing is better than nothing. thanks Brahma MINOR CHANGES MADE BY MODERATOR - " Krishna Gopal Misra " <kg Saturday, October 07, 2006 2:59 PM How to find the GOD ? > MESSAGE SHORTENED BY MODERATOR > AHAM BRAHMASMI > . > > YOGA CHITTA VRITTI NIRODHAh - 11 Patanjali > Any ripple or turbulence in consciousness starts a chain of reaction and we then realize the world of the senses and ego instead of God or of the Self. > > Sri Krishna, the Supreme Consciousness is the still, unmoving, unaffected and uninvolved observer.
