Guest guest
Revered Swamiji, Radhe Krishna! " PARITRANAYA SADHOONAM VINASAYA CHA DUSHKRUTAM, DHARMASAMSTHAPANARTHAYA SAMBHAVAMI YUGE YUGE " " YADA YADA HI DHARMASYA GLANIRBHAVATI BHARATA ABHYUTTHAM ADHARMASYA TADA ATMANAM SRIJAMYAHAM. " These are a few of the promises the Lord has made in the Gita. With so much adharma happening in this troubled world of ours, and so many innocent people are being slaughtered every day by the Rakshasa extremists, is it not sufficient reason for the Lord to keep up His promise and take His incarnation in this Yuga to protect us? Why does He wait further? Should we all go as a delegation headed by Brahma and Rudra to the Ocean of Milk to give him the petition, as they did before the Krishna Incarnation? Or is it that the burden on Mother Earth not sufficient to warrant another incarnation ? The Lord is omniscient and omnipresent and hence He knows whatever is happening here! If these things are allowed to continue without getting arrested, will not the devotees lose faith in the promises He has made in the Gita? Yours in reverence, K.V. Gopalakrishna. Guest guest
Divine One! Limit of Lord's patience is known to Him only. If the punishment were quick, this world couldn't exist. He gives many chances. He pardoned Sishupala one hundred times. After that His discuss cut-off the head. Misery of people in different forms are the punishments. These are there to wake the person up. Ultimately the judgment day arrives for everybody. The advancement of Science itself will destroy the world. The sane use of nuclear energy brings peace and prosperity and its insane use brings destruction. World has enough nuclear weapon to destroy many times over. That doesn't mean that advancement of Science is bad. Everything continues with the force of Karma. Every thing has its time and place to happen. Lord is the witness yet without His presence nothing exists. That " witness state " is the panacea of all sufferings. Guest guest
The situation is not so bad as you are describing it e.g. only 14% of the world's population are atheists and moreover, it is not only Krishna who is re-establishing dharma in this material world but also his devotees. So, Krishna comes when the number of devotees (Krishna-bhaktas decrease a lot) only to few of them as this is described in the Srimad Bhagavata purana e.g. regarding the reason of the coming of Kalki avatar at the end of Kali yuga. If Krishna in His various incarnation would not come the bhakti tradition would be completely lost.Nowadays the Bhagavad gita is translated in more than 100 languages and distributed widely all over the world by ISKCON devotees. Then just before a bit more than 520 years ago Krishna Himself was present on this planet as Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He is described in many scriptures and many references are there in the Gaudiya Kanthahara The Fourth Jawel: Gaura-tattva. (You can find this in the Google) And one more point. Demons are killing each other among themselves. They might look innocent sometime but were they really innocent in their previous life that's not known to us. Certainly not. Anyway, the compassionate devotees of Krishna (compassion is one of the most important qualities of a devotee) will try to help help anybody and the best way to help people is to tell them about yuga-dharma what was introduced by Lord Caitanya. Here are two essential slokas to understand these things: "In the Age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the name of Krishna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krishna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons and confidential companions." (Bhagavat purana 11.5.32)To say nothing of the spiritual advancement of persons who see the Supreme Person face to face, even a person born in a family of dog-eaters immediately becomes eligible to perform Vedic sacrifices if he once utters the holy name of Hari, the Supreme Personality of Godhead or chants about Him, hears about His pastimes, offers Him obeisances or even remembers Him.(Bhagavata purana 3.33.6)So, chant Hare Krishna and be happy. ard Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail. Guest guest
In this age, if we have been fortunate enough to know Gita and have access to Sadhak Sanjeevani by Swamit ji, it is indeed a great blessing by the Lord. I was also persplexed with apparent paradox in God's promise but when I took refuge in Gita, all of them washed away. Now I say to God, 'Even if I get all the happiness, of what use it would be, if I forget you. And even if I get all the miseries, are they any more unwelcome, if they remind me of you.' Guest guest
Dear Sadhakas,In my opinion, God is already here and giving us peace and happiness in the form of saints and sadgurus. Only one has to develop and attain a faith in oneself and in the Guru. God is here only. Just one small example : Once a man after many bad experiences and attrocities wrote : GOD IS NO WHERE. And then came a sadguru who simply changed the distance of the alphabets and it read like GOD IS NOW HERE. The sadguru could write so because he was seeing God everywhere. Therefore everything is here, point is what we see and how we see what is in our mind only that is reflected. WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY DIWALI MALHOTRA > Revered Swamiji, > Radhe Krishna! > > " PARITRANAYA SADHOONAM VINASAYA CHA DUSHKRUTAM, > DHARMASAMSTHAPANARTHAYA SAMBHAVAMI YUGE YUGE " > > " YADA YADA HI DHARMASYA GLANIRBHAVATI BHARATA > ABHYUTTHAM ADHARMASYA TADA ATMANAM SRIJAMYAHAM. Guest guest
That is perfectly all right. You and I can get consolation like that. But what about the thousands of innocents killed by the extremists? Can we say it is all due to their Karma and keep quiet? God has to be approached to give us a solution for this. And this can be done only by prayer. Let all of us utilise the Sandhya time , i.e., between 6 PM & 7 PM only for prayer, just for the sake of the welfare of the world. Regards K.V. Gopalakrishna.
