Guest guest
Ram Ram. In message dated 6 May 2007 it is said " Therefore when a spiritual aspirant performs all actions (service, adoration, chant, meditation, etc) for the welfare of the world, " ...... I earnestly wish to know what is this WORLD for the welfare of which spiritual aspirant performs all actions? Secondly, can an 'aspirant' perform any action at all? Self is the aspirant, Self can be that aspirant, NOT the body, senses, mind, intellect and any other thing else? Thirdly, when Self NEVER performs any action [neiv kinchitkaroti sa;] and the Self is always in INACTION, how can this be achieved? Kindly guide me, show me LIGHT. Guest guest
Sir THE SELF(ATMA/SOUL)IS NEVER INVOLVED IN ANY WORK OR ACTION .IT IS UNTOUCHED AND UNBORN.IT ONLY GET THE WORK OR ACTION DONE THROUGH THE SUBTLE BODY.THE MIND,INTELlECT AND VIVEK ALL ARE A PART OF BODY AND THESE MEDIUMS(BODY,MIND AND INTELECT)WORK/ACTION ARE EXECUTED AND THE SELF REMAINS UNTOUCHED BY WORLDLY THINGS. ANY ACHIEVEMENT IN MATERIALISTICS IS NOT PERMANENT BECAUSE WHEN THE BODY CEASES THE ATTACHED SENSES,MIND AND INTELlECT ALSO BECOMES UNSEEN BUT THE SOUL PERSIST IN ANOTHER FORM. THEREFORE ATMA/SOUL ALWAYS REMAINS IN INACTION AND AN ASPIRANT OF SPIRITUALITY ALSO REMAINS UNATTACHED TO ANY WORK OR ACTION. THE BODY ONLY REMAINS IN ACTION THROUGH SENSES,MIND AND INTELLECT.THIS IS WHAT IS REVEALED IN GITA. REGARDS N.PANDA ----- dear friend The life is short and the world is huge. if u study ur own mind u can understand the world. thank u Padmanaban Krishnan ----- > Ram Ram. > > In message dated 6 May 2007 it is said " Therefore when a > spiritual aspirant performs all actions > (service, adoration, chant, meditation, etc) for the welfare of the > world, " ...... > > I earnestly wish to know what is this WORLD for the welfare of > which spiritual aspirant performs all actions? > > Secondly, can an 'aspirant' perform any action at all? Guest guest
Dear Sadhakas, I am sharing my understanding. This may or may not be a guide or light, however, one would hope it will be of use down the road. Attempted to answer all 3 questions together. My understanding is based on this trust: " When an aspirant sets out to seek truth(God-Self), heart full of devotion and is ready to lay down everything including own life, it is the TRUTH-GOD-SELF that has kindled the flame in him/her to perform whatever action is needed. Self uses the aspirant's mind-body organism as the instrument. Then the entire universe will conspire, so to speak, to bestow Self realization upon hem/her, and he/she knows he/she is not individual doer. It appears to the WORLD as if the person is doing actions. It is an apparent world whose apparent welfare is taken care of by Self thru such an apparent aspirant. In reality it is Self who is taking care of Herself/Himself/Itself by Itself, for Itself as there is only Self. The world plots on as divine lila goes on. When ONE realizes one's true being as this Impersonal, Absolute, Intelligence, all such questions find their answers. All doings happen spontaneously without a doer and that's why its inaction and yet the only Action! Love...
