Guest guest
The Truth - IS GOD. Call it the Truth or call it God - it is one and the same. The true and only goal of the human life is to Attain God or Realise the Truth. The First Step to do it is to Set Your Goal. The moment we truly only want: truly only want to take our sight to the Truth, or truly only want to know Him, or truly only want to Serve Him, or truly only want to Love Him, or truly only want to have any Relation with Him, or truly only want to See Him, truly only want to Touch Him, truly only want to Hear Him, truly only want to Feel Him, truly only want to Smell Him, truly only want to Taste Him, etc ..(the list is endless, like Him) and do not want anything in return, no matter whatever the result, He has to run to us with open arms and take us in His arms. Though He is capable of doing anything and everything, He cannot stop Himself from doing this, even if He wants to. He is helpless. And as far as our doing is concerned, we need to do nothing else whatsoever. The fact that we have very conveniently overlooked and continuously overlook is that we cannot do anything independently, no matter however hard we try. We are helpless in doing anything on our own. We cannot even experience or enjoy anything on our own, no matter how hard we try. We are incapable of experiencing anything, without using (His) things that He has given to us. But we, the unfortunate fools, do not pay any heed to His Constant and Endless Signs and Warnings and do not See or Realise His Grace and have assumed that we have created a World of our own, and are constantly trying to discover and device new means to lead a supposedly happy life. In fact, we are actually living in Bliss and cannot do anything, not even take a breath or get a thought, without Him wanting us to. Each and every situation in our life is also actually His doing, but it is only for our benefit. For our bliss to be Blissful, He has given us independence of Choice. And in spite of all this we still do not want Him. Most of us are regularly leaving and forgetting Him. We all know that we should speak the Truth but due to selfish reasons and our self created Ego, we constantly break His main rule of not wanting anything for oneself and helping each and every person, taking care of each and every thing, loving each and every being/animal and keeping each and every place clean and pure – as He created it and meant it to be. The main reason for all of the above is that we fail to realise the Truth and in fact do not want to see or accept the Truth. What we think is the `I', is actually non existent. It is a make believe creation of our imagination and belief of ours. It cannot and does not exist. We all say that I AM, wherein the fact is that `I' IS – it is only Existence personified – nothing else. Everything is just IS. The past was IS, the future will be IS and the present is of course only IS. As soon as you realise, know or experience this, only the IS will remain. The 'I' in 'I IS' shall no longer exist. But, please do not be under the misbelieve that you can independently do anything to realise, know or experience this Truth. The same can only be realised, known or experienced when He wants you to realise, know, experience or believe. This does not mean you stop trying to realise, know, experience or believe Him, it only means that you have no control on the result. He is the examiner and He shall pass or fail you and that too only when He wants to. You can however be rest assured that no matter what you feel, whatever He has done, is doing or will do, will only be for your benefit, will only be to assist you to realise, know, experience or believe Him, which is the true goal of human life. He will make you realise that the whole universe, and everything in are mere puppets in His Hands. Once you realise, know or experience Him and want to love and please Him, then He takes you with Himself, takes you in His Care. Then and only then do you realise that even the Self, the `I' does not exist. Then, at this stage, there is no difference in your understanding, between God and the Self. And then ------- YOU are in permanent Bliss. YOU will taste Him and all His Tastes every second of YOUR life. The world YOU live in will become His world. The body YOU have will become His Body. YOUR sight will become HIS sight and HIS sight will become YOUR sight. YOUR life will become HIS life and HIS life will become YOUR life. YOU will become HIM and HE will become YOU and this game of change will go on every second of YOUR life. He has created this WORLD and EVERYTHING in it, ONLY to PLAY this GAME with HIMSELF (through YOU). This world (maybe not in the name and form we perceive it) and whatever HE has put in it, HAS always been, IS always there and SHALL always be (as long as He desires it to be). Now the last thing is that DO NOT EVER in your wildest of dreams even, ever think that you can independently do anything at all to REALISE the TRUTH. The TRUTH shall only be REALISED when HE wants IT. If you have ever thought that you can do anything or are doing anything, you have made a BIG MISTAKE. You cannot do anything EVER. However, you should never feel disappointed because whatever is happening is all HIS doing. The only thing that you need to do is truly Want Him and then surrender yourself COMPLETELY to HIM (his Will). Fall at HIS Feet and beg for HIS GRACE. No matter how many mistakes you have made, in this life or in your past lives, HE shall certainly forgive you. He is so KIND. You cannot even dream of how kind he IS. Whether you believe this or not, He is still constantly guiding and taking you towards your Ultimate Destination – in Hs Arms. THIS IS THE TRUTH. BELIEVE IT, ACCEPT IT, ABSORB IT, IMPLEMENT IT AND LIVE IT. BE in BLISS – for Ever and Ever ……… Ram Ram P.S: Please pass on this message to whomever you think would benefit from the same and/or whoever believes in God and ask them to circulate the same to all of them they know also. This will result in spreading TRUTH and GOD shall be HAPPY. --- ----------------------------- Gita Prapann Parivar Email: sadasya --- ----------------------------- RAM RAM FROM MODERATOR: IN FUTURE PLEASE KEEP YOU MESSAGES SHORT (UNDER 20 LINES) OR MODERATORS WILL AT THEIR DISCRETION SUMMARIZE OR SHORTEN AS THEY DEEM APPROPRIATE. Guest guest
Dear Sadhaka, Love and Love alone.... Pointers to Ponder about! Dear Sadhakas: Just to share, inspired by fellow sadhaka's " food for thoughts " , here are some pointers to the Truth, nature of my/our true identity as I understand them. I am requesting other sadhakas to share their perspectives on the same, to correct any misconceptions I may have, so we all can learn from it. THANKS A LOT FOR THE POINTERS. LET US SHARE, LEARN ND EVOLVE. 1) If our natural disposition or innate tendencies is one of intellectual pursuits as evidenced by education, reading scripural texts of Gita/Vedanta etc. then we should use this God given resource to know God. We cannot undermine this Gift of God as merely an intellectual exercise and force ourselves to pursue only Karma/Devotion forcefully. Here by Gyaan I mean only that of our true identity-Self, knowing which one crosses over Bhavsagar. FOLLOW ONLY THE SWADHARMA, PARADHARMA BHAYANAKAHA. 2) If on the other hand we have no interest in intellectual pursuits and are naturally devoted to self less karma or Devotion to God, then by all means pursue them. An innocent mind like Mirabai is an example that comes to this mind. BHAKTI YOGA - THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF SUCH GREAT SAINTS, LIKE NAMDEV, THUKARAM, TYAGARAJA, ANNAMAYYA, RAMADASU, ETC. 3) Can we imagine Bhakta who is not Gnani too or vice versa? He/she is. Because why would anyone go after God and not worldly objects? Yoganandji says (paraphrasing) " He is wise who tries to know God, He is the wisest who knows God " . Selfless Karmayogi is equally wise as he is pursuing God. YES, UNDOUBTEDLY. FOR THAT MATTER, ANY PERSON, WHO IS FOLLOWING ANY YOGA, WHICH LEADS TO GOD REALISATION OR SELF REALISATION IS A WISE PERSON. 4) Why not use all resources God has provided to us and seek Him. Being simple is not necessarily following just one or the other path. God has to be known rather than to believe in. WITHOUT BELIEF IN GOD OR SUPER POWER OR SUPER SOUL OR ANY NAME THAT YOU CAN GIVE, AND SURRENDER TO HIS OR HER WILL, WHO IS RUNNING THE WHOLE CREATION SYSTEMATICALLY, YOU CAN NEVER REALISE HIM. SO, BELIEF IS THE FIRST STEP IN KNOWING HIM. 5) " I " as one commonly uses in ordinary language is believed to be the individual one thinks one is (body-mind, memories, experiences unfulfilled desires, commonly know as conditioning). Upon inquiry, it (I) can be seen as simple Consciousness/Awareness in which all that one thinks to be, appear as objects of perception/knowledge including one's own body-mind organism and world. That is the only reality of our experience, nothing else! Thus One is this perceiving/knowing Conscious-Existence (not a person that knows or not) which is the only constant-nitya whereas rest is all appearances constantly changing as thoughts/feelings. " I " , as I use normally, therefore, is also an object like all other objects, mistakenly assumed to be Subject. CONSTANT AWARENESS OF ONESELF (ONE'S FEELINGS, THOUGHTS, ACTS, ETC., WILL ERADICATE THE SUBJECT AND OBJECT CONFUSION. 6) This Consciousness is intrinsic to my nature, I cannot deny it even in dream/sleep and so is real and is my true indentity. It can not be perceived/known as object of my mind because then It becomes another limited object of some ultimate Subject which It is! YES, ANYTHING LIMITED IS NOT SELF. 7) This same Consciousness/Awareness I call it God, Reality, Krishna, Brahman, Ishwara or whatever we name. All names are His as they all point to Him being reality of what we are, Conscious Being. YES INDEED. 8) With this understanding as my true being, this mind-body-I becomes an instrument for Him to use as He sees fit (Lila). In all my dealing with world, I draw on His intelligence so to speak and thereby actions are free of bondage. Actions are executed at the time they are needed, depending on circumstances and interests of all involved! (Mahabharata war is an example) YES, AS LONG AS ONE DEPENDS ON HIS WILL OR ALIGNS ONE'S WILL WITH HIS WILL, THERE IS NO BONDAGE OF ANY KARMA. 9) Finally knowing experiencially God as one's identity - Sat-Chit, one becomes complete, or Purna, desireless and therefore Ananda flows. REALISING OR HAVING HIM MEANS, HAVING EVERYTHING. AND, THERE IS NOTHING MORE DESIRE FOR. 10) Only God Is experienced as Cosncious-Existence, Purna, full of Bliss, appearing as peace, LOVE, joy, beauty. Idam sarvam Khalu Brahman or all Mahavakyas of Vedas say. Seeking your feedback / insights. ONLY THAT BIRTH IS A FULFILLED ONE, WHICH ASPIRES TO REALISE HIM AND HIM ALONE. ONLY THE WORK FOR RAMA IS REAL WORK, REST ALL IS BONDAGE ONLY. May GOd bless us all!-- Paritala Gopi Krishna
Guest guest
Dear Sadhakas, Namaste! I humbly submit the answers to questions raised by Swami Param as I understand them! The proof of Existence of God lies in certainty that I know I exist! My existence is beyond a shadow of doubt. This KNOWING doesn't come from heresay or some one telling me hey you exist. It comes from direct experience of knowing of existence. The answer comes from beyond mind-memory etc. There can be doubt about whether God exists or not if the meaning of God is not understood, but there can never be doubt about my existence, and thus all existence! THis is the proof of God IS Existence as all(sat) and this KNOWING(chit). What we experience is this Consciousness(means being conscious of) in which all universe and beyoond appear to exist, the substance(vastu) of which is this consciousness. So it has to be everywhere and everything(perceived, felt and thought)! Veda says Sarvam Khalu Idam Brahman! Namaskar... Pratap --- Classyoga wrote: > > In a message dated 5/7/07 2:01:42 P.M.
