First and the foremost, the one you consider your own, what must he

be like? One must contemplate on this point.

1. He who can remain with us forever (eternally)

2. After meeting Him, there is not need for anything else.

Gitaji says " Mamevaanso Jivaloke: (Gita 15:7). Only Prabhu

(Paramatma, God) is our very own. And in connection with Prabhu, it

comes in the words of saints, that Only Prabhu and His Loving

Saints / Devotees, are ours. In reality after attaining Prabhu, from

a worldly perspective there are two, however, as such, there is Only

You and You alone. There is only Prabhu (God, Paramatama).

Once an old man was travelling by train on a pilgrimage to

Brindavan. At night, whilst he was asleep, his wallet fell from his

pocket. A co-passenger found it the next morning and enquired as

to whom the wallet belonged. The old man said it was his. A picture

of Sri Krishna inside the wallet was proof that the wallet really

belonged to him.

The old man then began to relate the story of the wallet. He soon

had a group of eager listeners around him. Lifting up the purse for

all to see, the old man said: This purse has a long history behind

it. My father gave it to me years ago when I was a mere schoolboy. I

kept my little pocket money in it and also a photograph of my

parents.

Years passed. I grew up and began studying at university. Like every

youth, I became conscious of my appearance. I replaced my parents¡¯

photograph with that of my own and I would look at it often. I had

become my own admirer.

Then came marriage. Self-admiration gave way to the consciousness of

a family. Out went my own picture and I replaced it with that of my

wife¡¯s. During the day I would open the wallet many times and gaze

at the picture. All tiredness vanished and I would resume my

work with enthusiasm.

Then came the birth of my first child. What a joy I experienced when

I became a father! I would eagerly rush home after work to play with

my little baby. Needless to say, my wife¡¯s picture had already made

way for the child's.

The old man paused. Wiping his tearful eyes, he looked around and

said in a sad voice: Friends, my parents passed away long ago. My

wife too died five years ago. My son- my only son- is now married.

He is too busy with his career and his family. He has no time for me.

I now stand on the brink of death. I do not know what awaits me in

future. Everything I loved, everything I considered my own, has left

me.

A picture of Lord Krishna now occupies the place in my wallet. I

know He will never leave me. I wish now that I had kept HIS picture

with me right from the beginning! He alone is true; all others are

just passing shadows.

SPIRITUAL COMMENTARY

Only God is our true relative, father, mother and friend in this

entire universe as this sloka says :

Tvameva Mata cha Pita Tvameva

Tvameva Bandhuscha Sakhs Tvameva

Tvameva Vidya Dravinam Tvameva

Tvameva Sarvam Mama Deva deva

Everything else and every other relationship we hold in the material

world is transitory. One cant predict the tricks our mind plays.

Even the closest of friends can become worst enemies with time. Our

own kith and kins may become our worst foes. Our own relatives may

ditch us when we need them the most! Even a slight misunderstanding

can create a valley of gap between true lovers! So whom can we trust

in this mortal world??

The ironic truth is we can trust no one else but ONLY GOD!!GOD IS

THE ONLY PERMANENT SOURCE OF HAPPINESS AND LOVE!We have come from

God, we are a spark of His Glory; we are a wave of that Ocean of

Bliss; and we will get peace only when we again merge in Him.

If we place complete faith in the Lord at all times, we will receive

His Grace. Grace takes away the pain of Karma. Only the Lord/Guru

can save man completely from Karma.

Dear Sadaks,

There is NO such thing you and me. When you believe there is you and

me then it is Dwaitham and ignorance. If you belive that you are one

with God then there is no you and me. sant Tukaram in Abang sang

that " Oh Bagavan there is NO two things as you and me " . Prahalad

sang same, as such he saw Bagavan Narayana in fire, water, in space

and in everyting including in his father. So we belong to that

Paramathuma.

Thats very ultimate reply from shashikala jee jee jee

" sirf bhagvan hi apne hain, apan sirf bhagvan ke hain

sansar apna nahi hai, apan sansar ke nahi hai "

" Only Bhagvan is mine, I am only Bhagvan's

The world is not mine, I am not of the world. "

Thats really to be conceived

Believe your own self ultimately dont wait someone to come and lift

you up. one's own deeds would be guide to one's upwardness of life

and happiness.this is exactly what krishna told arjuna. after the

decision to war or not finally was in the hands of arjuna. when

arjuna assented all forces came to his support and all were waiting

for that to help. The chief sloka is " uddharedatmana atmanam na

atmanam avasadayet. " is Krishna to Arjuna. when you style your self

with confidence and hope and optimism whole world looks supremely

pleasing rather you can inspire others in the que. A atmaivabhut

vijanatah. In Lalita Sahasranama also hayagriva advised in the names

to Lalita 'svatamarama and sudhasmrutih meaning devi is happy always

in her self and it is also owing to the sudha(Happy) smrutih,

memories she nurtured always although there are several unpleasant

and disagreeable happenings. " atamiava bandhuh atamanah na atmanam

vyavasadayet. " Self is a relative to one's own self " thamat

yudhyasva bharata. "

So care for self and all will automatically be correct is krishna's

message. Work activity keeps us happy and for that we train

ourselves to that expectation.
