How to Overcome Fear of Another Suffering and My Wanting Physical Comfort?

My mother is suffering from cancer. I dread to see her suffer, her death…my

being alone… I have no one except her who i can truly call of my own. I know

God is looking at me, but how do I fill the gap of wanting a physical comfort…

please help me.
