Mr.Ravi nice to see your mail. I am also

from vadagalai parentage. My native is cuddalore in South Arcot district. I am a

mechanical engineer and now I am a consultant to Petroleum development Oman.

 

Here is Musact we have Krishna temple / Shiva temple. Here

we do conduct sathumurai and vedaparayanam during SRAVANAM days and lot

of vaishnavite families take part in this. Also Moolam is being celebrated by Thenkalai

borthers. But both kalai families are highly co-operative and celebrating to

get Aacharyan blessings and Periyaperumal,pirattiyar blessings.

 

We also have Sri vishnusahasranama parayana

mandali and this is being conduted in all the Vaisnavite houses by cycle.

 

Also we have arranged recently the Upanyasam

by Sri Velukudi Krishnan on the topic of Srimad Ramayanam. Though Oman is a Muslim country, the

King Sultan Kaboos allows all the Hindu activities with equal respect to all

the religion.

Hello

 

Hello and Namaskarams to

fellow members.

 

A brief introduction :-

 

I am Ravi Chander born of vadagalai parentage in

Srirangam. My parents

live in North Chittrai street. I had my education

and growing up all

over India. So was not fortunate enough to study

or grow in Srirangam.

 

I presently live in Colorado Springs, CO, USA. Its

a beautiful town at

the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Unfortunately we do not have a

hindu temple in town. The nearest one is at Denver
