Each one of these stalwarts was conferred an appropriate title, chosen by Srimath Andavan Himself. -- An emotional moment for all as Sri P.V. Recitation of complete Rg vEdam, (kAnva shAkha??) Shukla Yajur vEdam, Taittriya Krishna Yajur vEdam and two sAma vEda recensions - Kauthuma and the " endangered " Jaimini. (Personally, adiyen was quite pleased that the sAma vEda Kauthuma shAkha pArayana gOshti really stood out, by sheer turnout as well as sonority :-) Let us all pray that the Divya Dampthigal grant Srimath Andavan and all our Acharyas with good health and long life so that they can continue to lead us to a new golden Vedic period. vEdAnta lakshmana munIndra krupAtthabOdham thadpAdha yugmasaraseeruha brungha rAjam | thraiyantha yugma kruthaboori parisramamtham sriranga lakshmana munim saranam prabhadyE || All errors are mine. Bhagavathas may correct or add to the above. sarvamsrIkrishnArpanmasthu, Srimath Andavan thiruvadi. (-Shreyas) PS. (i) Photos/video clips of the celebrations will be available on http://www..org by this weekend. (ii) " vedokhilo dharma moolam " -- Due to the Divine Sankalpam of Srimath Andavan, the Ashramam is aggressively opening many new vEda pAtashAlas.
