They are SWAYAMACHARYAS, Samashrayanam done by some Late AYYANGAR SWAMIGAL who had no sandathi. Samasrayanam was not done to me as my husband is not interested . But as Iknow the significance of Saranagathi & Acharyal, I want togo to Andavan Sannadi & samasrayam & BARANYASAM ALSO if allowed, done thro, andavan as my brotherin law said. I'm attending Kalatchepams of sillarai rahasyam & Rahasyathrayasaram. My questions are: 1)Can I continue attending this kalatchepam? 2)Can I come alone & Samasrayanam done to me as I'm interested & as I can not compel my husband?Or is it advisable coming alone to join Acharyrl sannadi? I'm very much interested in hearing all about Vaishnava SAmpradayam? Will anybody clarify my doubts as I'm very much embarassed to ask directly to Andavan Swamigal. Guest guest Posted July 10, 2003 Report Share Posted July 10, 2003 Dear Madam, Considering the circumstances,there is nothing wrong in you requesting Srimath Andavan for getting Samasrayanam for yourself and also baranyasam on the same day.As a practice in our ashramam, just a day before, you may have to request His Holiness for His blessings and come prepared the next day.It is gratifying to note that, in spite of your husbands reluctance,you yourself atleast get these things done, as our sampradaya strongly believe these.One thing I am sure that once you have these performed, you will definitely be blessed and one day your reluctant husband also will be changing his mind. Believe in this strongly and that day also will come, with the blessings of Srimath Andavan.That is the greatness of our Acharyan.
