Guest guest
As a devotee Sri Narasimhan has made an excellent report about Sri Kothandaraman and Sri Dharba Sayana Raman Sannathi in Pon Vilaintha Kalathur. The devotees, who are planning to visit based on this report, will be delighted to know that there are also 2 other famous Sri Vaishnava temples nearer to them. The first one is the ancient Sri LakshmiNarasimha Swamy temple. This temple also has a long history behind it. This is just walking distance from Sri Kothandaramaswmy temple. The second temple is Sri Chaturbhuja Ramar temple, where Lord Sri Rama is in a rare and beautiful standing posture with 4 hands. This place is about 3 kms. from the above place, and the name of the village is Pon Pathir Koodam. One common point is that all these temples has a common " archakar " .He will be able to take care of the visitors. All these temples can be reached from Chengalpattu very easily, as it is about 10 kms, from there.
