I am attaching photographs taken during the

Ashtabandana Mahasamprokshnam of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha

Swamy temple at Ponvilainthakallathur near Chengalput

held today morning (28th Nov 2003) in the immediate

presence of HH. Srimath Andavan Swamigal. There was a

large gathering of devotees witnessing the event after

twelve years. It is to be mentioned that just half an

hour before this samprokshanam there was a heavy rain

for an hour indicating the heavenly blessings for the

samprokshanam. The rain stopped half-an-hour before

the main event and it was enjoyable for all the

devotees.

To give the background,this temple Moolavar is

Vaikuntanatha Perumal with Ubhaya Naachimar.

Uthsavar is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.The temple is

atleast 1000 years old.

 

Srimath Andavan was very much pleased with the

arrangements made and the local population gave a very

good reception.
