FWD-ing an excellent posting. I thought the whole group could be enlightened

with the simple moral in this posting..

Here is a story adiyEn recollects told by a family elder: Moral

Story for Kids

Case 1:

A farmer plants the seeds, waters the crops and after a few

months and get his crops,

once the Crop is harvested He claims, Ahh as a result of MY

hard work I could get these crops.

He takes full Credit to himself. (He did the work and

got the

Crops)

Case 2:

A devotee farmer who is bleseed by the LORD with some Vedic

Science

does the same work as Farmer in case 1:.

But realizes the crops need water, air and earth. Which the LORD

has provided.

He realizes that even the Seeds the Lord has provided.

So attributes the Crops to the Lord & to the Hard work the HE

put in to HIMSELF.

He gives the Lord 50% credit. and takes 50 % for his Hard work.

Case 3:

A Ramanuja Bhakta farmer who is naturally blessed by the LORD

to be in Love with the LORD

(essense of Vedic Science) does the same work as Farmer in case

1:.

He also realizes as the Farmer in case 2 that the seeds, water,

air

and earth for the Crops, the LORD has provided.

But realizes that even the breath he takes, the water he drinks,

food he eats and land that is walks on,

and the birth he took here is also by the Lord's grace.

So to him every thing is because of Lords unconditional Grace:

As we know the lord is not dicriminating in allowing one to get

water, air, or birth, etc.

No matter how crazy and unbeleiving we are, the Air, water, Sun,

Land to walk on etc

are not partial to us based on our faith.

Any soul that has received Mokha, will it ever ever say, Ohh I

got Mokha because I Did this and That etc.

or will the sould say, it all Because of HIS Unconditional grace.

The above story was so effectively told to us when we were kids

that adiyEn still repeats the

same story to drive the point of "Unconditional Love, Comapssion

and Grace that Lord bestows on us"

Most of us keep beleiving as the Farmer in case 1:

This is my house, My family, My money, My place, My pride etc.

All he wants from us is to get to Step 3, and let the life on

Autopilot, Let him drive for us.

All we have to do then is sit back and enjoy the Ride he has in

store for us.

And ACT and do our duties as HE guides us to do.

The next qs then we ask is why does he not put us in Step 3

Himself.?

Anything forced is incomplete, especially in matters of LOVE.

This is eternal Love to Perumal which is our true nature.

All we have to do is to NOT get away from HIM, that is all.

He keeps knocking on our doors all the time everywhere, we just

need

to open up and allow HIM into our hearts.
