Every year on 1st Jan, a group of Srimath Andavan

Ashramam Devotees and well wishers organise to do a

Kainkariyam to Lord Sri Uppiliyappan. Towards this

they have been making Silver articles meant in the

main sannathi for Thirumanjanam and other purpose.

This year a Silver Thirukkaveri weighing nearly 2 Kgs

as shown in the attached photograph was presented to

Lord Sri Uppiliyappan on 1st Jan as per the wishes of

HH Srimath Andavan Swamigal.

The photograph was taken at Sri Padhuka Vihara

Bhavanam, Anna Nagar, Chennai, during the Thiruppavai

Discourse a couple of days back at which time this

Silver Vessel was brought by Sri V Srinivasan, a

devotee of Srimath Andavan, who has co-ordinated this

Kainkariam all these years. Thiruppavai Discourse at

this place is being delivery this year by Sri N

Ramaswamy Iyengar of Srivilliputhur.
