Guest guest
I faced this problem , whenever I travel and staying in a hotel. The direction is very important. For the morning (praatha) sandyavandanam,it is east. For the midday and evening it is facing north.Thse are for Argyam.I use the correct direction, and the water is poured over a turkey towel spread in a chair in front of you.If you have flower pot inside your flat particularly with thulasi plant, you have another choice and you can orient your direction around that. This will ensure the direction as well as the argyam water is not mixing with the drains. The towel can then be dried comfortably. By this we can ensure both the direction as well as the sactity of the water poured as argyam. Of course this is not an issue for those having natural facilities and open space in the houses. I hope this gives some ideas. Anymore thoughts from others are also welcome.
