Guest guest
Attached herewith the photgraphs taken on 16th January 2004,at Pazhayaseevaram Paari Vettai of Kancheepuram Sri Varadaraja Perumal. There is also a famous Sri Nrisimhar Sannathi here, and that Perumal also joins Sri Deva Perumal on the occasion. Both Perumals are taken in a procession to the nearby Thirmukkoodal, across the river Palar. At that place deities from a few other temples also assemble. On Kaanu Pongal it is a treat to watch grand assembly of Perumals from different temples , a large gathering of sri Vaishnavaits, very big assembly of Adyapaka and veda paarayana ghoshti. This is the greatness of Sri Deva Perumal. He is able to bring devotees of both Kalais of Srivaishnavas from different places together in one place. You will be surprised to note that everyone assembles voluntarily. The first photograph is Sri Nrisimhar of Pazhayaseevaram temple The second photograph is Sri Deva Perumal The third is Sri Deva Perumal in the large gathering of devotees assembled Daasan, R.Srinivasan SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool.
