It is avatharasthala of Our Swami Desikan. I had the opportunity to have the Darshanam of Swami Desikan and also took lot of Pictures for building web site. You all must be aware that a Trust was formed by name " Thooppul Vendantha Desikar Charitable Trust" which is doing yeoman service and doing Nithya Annadhanam also as a part of their activity.The trust was formed on 26/09/1993 on the Year Sri Mukha on the auspicious day of Puratasi Shravanam. A souvenir was brought out on that day. Since then lot of mile stones are crossed and now this Charitable trust of your is 10 years old. SrIman SatakOpa Tatacharya Swamy is one of the founder trustee and he is doing yeoman services . SrIman SatakOpa Tatacharya is working as professor of Sanskrit in Kaladi [Kerala] Sanskrit University. He visits Thoopul often. Since last year [2003] was 10th year of completion they wanted to bring out the souvenir on Our Swami Desikan's Thirunakshatram, but due to unforeseen circumstances the release of souvenir was postponed. Sriman SatakOpa Tatacharya requested me to make an appeal in the group so that individuals or Companies can place advertisement in Souvenir .
