Srimath Andavan Swamigal is presently camping in

Chennai His Holiness is likely to depart Chennai on

23rd June 04 and likely to reach Hydrabad by 28th June

04. On the way His Holiness will be visiting

Thiruchanoor and Ahobilam.

 

All the devotees of Ashramam are aware that Nithya

Aaradanai Perumal is Sri Venugopalan along with Sri

Rukmini and Sathyabama. This is the perumal supposed

to have been in the Ashramam from the days of Srimath

Thirukkudanthai Desikan, a revered poorva acharya of

our Ashramam.

 

Sri Venugopalan enjoys Dolothsavam at the residence

of various devotees several times in a month. This is

done in a beautiful Swarona Dolai specially made.

Every one of you also know the beautiful silver

mandapam, in which this Perumal is having Nithya

aradanam. Both these facilities were made as per the

wishes of His Holiness, a few years back.

 

Now this year, His Holiness is coming out with a

proposal, that the daily archana for Sri Venugopalan

soon will be performed with 1008 Swarna Pushpams. For

this small round golden discs of about 15mm’s in

diameter and 2 gms. In weight are getting ready. On

one side of the disc lettering in Somskrit with the

wording “Ohm Visvaya Namaha” is engraved on each of

these discs. All these 1008 golden discs will be

retained in the Ashramam for daily aaraadana.

 

Devotees are invited to join in this Ashramam

Kaingkaryam. By joining they will be part of Nitya

aradanai. Their contribution will do some service

every day. This small gold disc, is costing Rs.1350/-

only Devotees can contribute for 1 or more of these

Swarana Pushpams and obtain the blessing of Sri

Venugopalan every day. It is hereby informed that the

Swarna Pushpam will be retained in Ashramam.

 

As a recognition of the contribution, a small show

case piece of Sri Venugopaln, covered in plastic case

will be given from the Ashramam.

 

Picture of the 2 gms.weight golden disc engraved as

stated above and the proposed gift is given the

attachment, for information to the devotees.

 

USA residents may contribute nearest equivalent of

Rs.1350/- through Sri Ramanuja Mission, plus some

handling charge, as will be fixed by the them. Sri

Ramanuja Mission will also send a similar e-mail

stating the amount in US $ and mode of payment. They

will collect the money from all the interested

devotees and make one single payment, to reduce the

handling cost.

 

As the number to be used for Nityaaradanam is a fixed

one at 1008, it is better to book your requirements at

the earliest, to avoid any disappointment later.

 

The payment by cheque or DD is to be made payable at

Chennai drawn in the name of “Srimath Andavan

Ashramam” and posted to Ashramam premises at No.21,

Desikachari Road, Mylapore, Chennai – 600 004.
