Guest guest
Respected Bhaktas, One of my office colleague's mother has been keeping quite unwell and has is keen to visit Tirupati..They have not visited the shrine in the past and are new to the place - being their first visit. A tentative 4 day schedule in July has been planned. Tickets etc. have been booked, but the usual problem of accommodation etc. has cropped up. They have been desparately trying to phone various ashramas, hotels etc. but no luck. Money is not an issue, but because of the person's age and health conditions, they prefer to stay very close to the temple so that there is least amount of walking/climbing and physical involvement. They may arrange a wheel chair for the old lady, perhaps. Would any of the bhaktas know of some good mutt/ashrama/lodging nearby regards Ram (022) 24910492 ext. 3019

Guest guest
Check out http://www.tirumala.org/acco_tm.htm . The best place for handicapped person is in a place called"Ram Bahicha" quarters. This is maintained by TTD and is next to the temple. From the above web site, you can findinfo. about how to book in advance. We can send a letter to them, indicating the dates, along with DD for the requiredamount (Rs. 100 per day). In the letter, we can state that we have a handicapped person and hence we require a roomin the ground floor and specifically in Ram Bahicha. They usually oblige. The actual room no: is allotted only when we go to Tirumala. At that time, withthe confirmed booking for Ram Bahicha, we can request the TTD booking office to put us in the ground floor room of Ram Bahicha. At 04:48 AM 6/17/2004 -0700, you wrote:>Know of any such places?>>u visit tirupathi a lot. thought i shd check with u.>>>>Note: forwarded message attached.s.ramachandran wrote: Respected Bhaktas,One of my office colleague's mother has been keeping quite unwell and hasis keen to visit Tirupati..They have not visited the shrine in the past andare new to the place - being their first visit.A tentative 4 day schedule in July has been planned.
