Guest guest
Dear Raghavan Thanks for opening up a good subject. As Swami Andavan himself has opined Lord venugopalan should be worshipped in the same form as he is worshipped everywhere. But going by the elders words , it is better that we improve our wealth of religious knowledge rather than the various photographs and paintings and carvings. GOD IN HIS INNUMERABLE FORMS HAVE PROVIDED DARSHAN TO US AND PROVIDES EVERY SECOND HIS POWER ON US AND THAT IS CALLED PRANA VAYU. SO ALL OUR MIGHTY ACHARYAS WERE OF THE OPINION THAT THIS ONE HUMAN PIRAVI IS NOT ENOUGH TO WORSHIP GOD. Please say " Om venkatesaya namaha " everyday morning from today till end of this year. Thanks and regards Sowmyanarayanan --- Shreyas Sarangan <sarangan wrote: > > > Sri: > Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha > > Recently a bhagavatha posed this question directly > to Srimath > Andavan, when adiyen also happened to be in our > Acharyas's sannidhi. > > Srimath Andavan clearly stated that this belief is > incorrect, and > that the flute-bearing Lord VENU-Gopalan, who is > worshipped at > Ashramam, has taken very good care of us. > > Srimath Andavan thiruvadi. > > > andavan , " sv_raghavan2811 " > <sv_raghavan2811> wrote: > > > > > > _/l\_ Namaskaram dear elders, > > I just want to know whether or not one can have > the image of Lord > > Krishna with a flute in His hand at home. Guest guest
Swamin, The belief as per our elders is that you can have the lord with the flute in hand. But he shall not be depicted playing it. This is considered to make the family go thro troubles. Adiyen was with my father when he asked Kannan swamigal of this question. Acharyan's answer was simple. He asked my father why you have to have it. Will having Krsna in baby form not protect you? Any of the elders of the group may wish to shed more light logically on that. Adiyen await to learn. Dasan/raghavansowmya Narayanan <narayas3 wrote: Dear RaghavanThanks for opening up a good subject.
