Srimath Andavan's visit to Ahobila Mutt at Selaiyur

I am happy to inform the group members that His Holiness Sri Ranga

Ramanuja Mahadesikan made a visit to Sri Ahobila Mutt at

Selaiyur,near Chennai.This visit was in response to the invitation

from Srimath Azhagiyasinger to His Holiness to paticipate in the

Malola Vidwat Sadas being coducted at the MUtt premises,coinciding

the 126th Thirunakshatram of 42nd Pattam Srimath

Azhagiasinger,SriSriranga Satagopa Yatheendra Mahadesikan,popularly

known as Srimath Injimettu Azhagiyasinger.

On arrival at the Mutt premeises,Srimath Andavan was received with

traditional honours.Then H.H. went round the Mutt complex and

performed Mangalasaasanam of Sri Malola Nrisimhar.then Srimath

Andavan was escorted to sadas hall where already several

vidwans,including Srikaryam Swamees of Sri Ahobila Mutt and Srimath

Andavan Ashramam, Sri Chettalur Srivathsanchariar Swamy, Sri Villoor

karunakarachariar Swamy,Sri Mannargudi Rajagopalachariar Swamy and

others (sorry that I could not identify them as an observer).

The Sadas which started at 3 P.M. lasted upto 5 45 P.M.

At the end sadas vidwans wre honoured.

Then Srimath Andavan was honoured by Srimath Azhagiyasinger and on

behalf of Mutt Sambavani was made to H.H.

The two Acharyas agreed to the request of several happy devotees and

agreed for taking a few photographs of the very happy event in the

history of our Swamy Desikan Sampradyam.

All devotees received manthradchadai form both Acharyas and dispersed

with the memories of this happy event.

I want to know the details of tirupavada sevai being conducted in

tirumala only on thursdays- the speciality and the meaning of it.... can

you please enlighten me about it? waiting to hear back from you..

Dear Srinivasan swamin

 

What a bhagyam for those who could make it to the

event to have the kataksham of both the yathi

sreshtas. For the sake of sishyas like us who could

not be present, can adiean request posting of a few

photos showing the two revered acharyars together.

Dear Sri Dorairajan,

No doubt, that this a great event

for our Sampradayam.Photographs were taken on the

occasion and they will appear both in Sri Ranganatha

Paduka and Sri Nrisimha Priya,in the forthcoming

isssues.If I am able to get them earlier, I will scan

and put them in the group mail.
