Report on Srimadh Andavan Thirunakshatram Celebrations 2005 at Colorado

By the grace of Perumal, Thayar, Azhwars and our Acharyas, our

Andavan's Tirunakshatram this year was celebrated in a grand manner at

Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

The celebration started off with the recitation of

Nithyanusandhanam by the ghosti, followed by Perumal thiruvaradhanam. It

was our bhagyam to have more than 24 Salaigrama Murthis from devotees

living in Colorado for the thiruvaradhanam. Sikshavalli, Pancha Suktam and

Neerattam were recited by the devotees. After bojyasanam, Paaduka

Aaradhanam for our Acharyan's Paaduka and Prakrutham Ahzagiyasingar's

Paaduka were performed in a grand manner. Few slokas from Paaduka Sahasram

were recited by the devotees while the Paaduka Aaradhanam was in progress.

Punar mantrasanam was performed followed by traditional saatrumurai. Azhwar

and Acharya sambhavanai kramam were performed in a traditional manner and to

conclude the recitation, mangalams of our Acharyas, Swami Vedantha Desikan

and Swami Manavala Maamunigal were performed. All the bhagavathas were

served and enjoyed the traditional bhagavath prasaadam.

 

It was a wonderful anubhavam and the bhagavathas are more eagar to

see many such functions conducted here in Colorado and do not mind

travelling several miles to have such anubhavams.
