16th Annual Tiruppavai Mahothsavam and 8th Annual Tamilmarai Music festival

Dear Memebers,

 

Our Ashramam's Asthana Vidwan, Sri

U.Ve. Kalyanapuram Aravamudachriar Swamy has been instumental in

organising these two festivals all these years.Earlier these festivals

were held in Srivilliputhur at Sri Andal's Avathara Sthalam itself and

then at Kumbakonam at Sri Aravamudan's Sannathi.

 

This year this is being held at our

Chennai Andavan Ashramam, in the immediate presence of H.H.,between 8th

and 12th june.On 8th morning H.H. is inaugurating with a discourse on

the first 2 songs of Tiruppavai. Several other eminent vidwans are

following for the other pasurams. The sessions are both in the morning

and afternoon. In the evenings on these days, music performances are

arranged. Full details may be obtained from Ashramam.
