Renovation of ancient temple in Kanchipuram district

Dear all,

 

Some time ago HH Srimad Andavan visited our village, pazhayaseevaram,

to visit the Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan temple in our village. At that

time, He had graced our house in the village and unearthed a very old

and historical Vaikuntanatha Perumal temple just opposite to our

house.

 

HH has instructed my father and my father-in-law to resurrect the

temple and bring it to life. Both these elderly gentlemen have been

actively pursuing various means to complete this instruction of our

Acharyan. The temple has started taking shape and lot of work has

already been completed. But we are still in need of funds to complete

the works.

 

I would like to invite everyone in this group to explore the beauty

of our village (it is on the banks of river Palar and the Lakshmi

Narasimhan temple is on a small hillock overlooking the river) and

also to visit the village (which is about a KM from this temple)

inside and have a look at the Vaikuntha Nada Perumal temple and the

work that has been done till date with His grace and our Acharyan's

blessing.

 

This is an appeal for generous contributions from members / friends

to enable us complete HH instructions and resurrect this temple which

is more than 1000 years old. The Hindu published an article on this

temple after the archealogical department surveyed some of the stones

excavated from the old structure and confirmed that it was indeed

1000 years old.
